HaMakom is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico Continuing education Thursday, July 17, 6-8 p.m. in the St. Bede's library Friday Kabbalat Shabbat service on July 18 featuring Hazzan Sunny Schnitzer and Saturday morning Shabbat service on July 19 Its intention is to be a community of loving kindness guided by Jewish principles.HaMakom means The Place. It is one of God's names. Our mission is to be a community of loving-kindness guided by Jewish principles. Following the model of a chavurah, a small, informal fellowship, we are dedicated to a form of study and worship that embraces all Jewish denominations. We believe that each flowing stream has much to teach us. HaMakom is fully inclusive and deeply committed to social action. HaMakom's Cantorial Soloist Cindy Freedman Cindy Freedman is a member of the Women Cantors' Network. She is a professional singer and guitarist, using her voice as an instrument to create love, peace and awareness at special events throughout the US and Europe. Cindy has lead workshops using chanting, sound, percussion, singing and movement to evoke the healing power of music. |
