Come for all or part of the service. Your presence and point of view are always appreciated and honored.
Please bring a kosher vegetarian dish to share at the Oneg lunch after the kiddush. We welcome entrees, vegetables, salads, snacks, or desserts for 4-5 people. (Challah and bagels are usually provided.)
Were you Bar or Bat Mitzvahed? Consider leyning your Torah portion or a portion of your choice on Shabbat. Contact Hazzan Cindy Freedman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Shabbat services begin at 9:45 am every Saturday and Torah study begins around 11:45 am.
Services are led by Rabbi Jack Shlachter and Hazzan Cindy Freedman, with Torah service and discussion and Torah leyning by the Rabbi and Hazzan, community members, or guests. Our highly spirited Torah discussion involves the entire community. Community members are encouraged to present a “drash” and lead the discussion.
HaMakom services weave traditional prayer, learning, singing, and community into a meaningful expression of Judaism.
